Just thought I’d throw a few images up here of a recent album we’ve had made, since I actually had a spare minute to photograph this one before sending it off! Dave and I currently design each and every album ourselves with a lot of love, using a simple, clean, and minimalistic approach to the design, and we’ve been loving making quite a few wedding and engagement albums for our couples this year. There’s nothing like seeing a story about yourselves unfold in book form and to actually tangibly hold and see your images in real life is not something that happens very often in regular life anymore! Dave and I are even making a point to make up a few albums for ourselves of our travels from this past year. Can’t wait to get started on that project!

Whew…. What a year it’s been already. I feel like I’ve been blogging lots but not necessarily sharing in a personal way about our journey recently…… It’s not that I haven’t had anything to share – far from it. I’m hoping that will change in the next little bit. Wedding season is still in full swing here, but where we can we’ve made sure to carve out some time to take walks as the sun disappears behind the trees, go to the old cinema down the street for the first time, and partake in one or two of the fall offerings at Starbucks. It’s quite honestly hard to believe that today is the first day of fall. The days are getting shorter, but I’ve been in denial! Where did the summer go?

More soon, promise. We’re off this weekend up north to shoot a wedding on the French River. Also, it just happens to be these guys who are the ones getting married there  : )

Something special arrived for us and we are bursting to share them – samples of our new line of lovely wedding albums that we are so happy to now offer to all our couples!

It’s been a process to get to this point…….I’ve always believed in the power of actually holding your images, flipping through the pages of a book, instead of just looking at them on a computer screen. But when I started this business there was so much to learn, all at once, that at first I didn’t offer albums at all…..then I offered simple coffee table books that weren’t very customizable, but easy to figure my way around…..and now, I’m so happy that I actually have real wedding albums to be able to offer to our couples, for them to actually hold, that will last forever…….ahh it is a very exciting day!

Our wedding albums are square, come in two sizes to choose from, are hardcover and bound in linen and contain loads of wedding goodness inside…They are so nice to hold in our hands and to actually see our images in print there on the pages is really really nice……. Dave and I currently design each and every album ourselves with a lot of love, using a simple, clean, and minimalistic approach to the design…and the guys who make them for us are called KISS, and their motto of keeping things simple seems to fit in quite well with the way we like to do things, so we couldn’t be happier to be working with them.

I can’t wait to start handing these bad boys out to our couples! Take a look…….. Cleo also approves : )
